What we use
Bana (http://localhost:3000) uses as little browser storage as possible, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Shopping cart (local storage on your device). It remembers what you added to your cart. It stays until you clear it or complete an order.
Visit marker (session storage). It prevents the same visit from being counted twice in our anonymous statistics. It lasts until you close the tab.
Admin sign-in cookie. It is only used by the store owner, to stay signed in to the dashboard. It lasts 7 days.
Anonymous statistics
We count visits, product views and add-to-cart events to understand what works. These counts are not linked to you: we do not store your IP address, device or any identifier. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we do not count your visit at all.
Your choices
You can clear local and session storage in your browser settings at any time (your cart will be emptied). Blocking storage entirely may stop the cart from working.
